This page describes how to permanently delete your Sage Business OS account and every piece of personal data we hold about you, including any data received from Google (Drive / Calendar) or from Meta / WhatsApp when you connected a WhatsApp Bot. It satisfies Meta's "User Data Deletion URL" requirement and Google's API Services User Data Policy on account removal.
Option 1 — Delete your account from the dashboard (recommended)
- Sign in at sageailab.com/login.
- Open Dashboard → Settings → Account.
- Click Delete account and confirm.
This cascades and immediately removes:
- Your user profile, login credentials, and authentication sessions.
- Every workspace, document, file, knowledge base, presentation, App Studio project, EDM campaign, Creative asset, and Drive item you uploaded.
- Every WhatsApp Bot you connected, including all messages, contacts, media, and booking records held by that bot.
- Every Invoice+ document, Accounting+ entry, Lead Finder contact, and QA Generator dataset attached to your enterprise.
- Your Sage Credits ledger and Stripe customer linkage in our system. (Stripe retains its own transaction records for tax / chargeback purposes — contact Stripe directly to address those.)
- Cached Google OAuth tokens (so we can no longer act on your Google account).
Option 2 — Email request
From the email address on your account, send a message to admin@sageailab.com with subject "User Data Deletion Request" and the account email you want deleted. We action verified requests within 30 days and email you a confirmation when deletion is complete. If you need a tracking confirmation code in advance, ask for one in the same email.
Option 3 — Revoke a connected service only
If you only want to disconnect a third-party integration (without deleting your Sage Business OS account):
- Google Drive / Calendar: Dashboard → Invoice+ → Settings → Disconnect Google Drive, and/or WhatsApp Bot → Booking calendar → toggle Sync to Google Calendar off. You can also revoke our app entirely at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- WhatsApp Bot: Dashboard → WhatsApp Bot → select the bot → Delete bot. This terminates the WhatsApp session and removes every message, media file, and booking we stored for that bot.
- Facebook / Instagram / Threads (Creative Studio): Dashboard → Creative Studio → sidebar Connect social accounts → Disconnect on each platform. This removes the stored access tokens from our database. You can also revoke our app at facebook.com/settings → Apps and websites.
What we may retain after deletion
We may keep the following for the periods listed even after account deletion:
- Invoices and tax records issued by Invoice+ — kept for the statutory retention period in your jurisdiction (typically 5–7 years).
- Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics that no longer identify you.
- Records required to comply with a court order, regulatory request, or legal dispute — kept only for as long as legally required.
Files in your own Google Drive
Deleting your Sage Business OS account does not delete files we previously wrote into your Google Drive — those files remain yours and stay in your Drive. To remove them, open Drive directly and delete the "SageAI Invoices" / "SageAI Accounting" folder, or revoke our access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
